Yes. Under the FCRA, an employer must give the applicant a clear written disclosure, in a document that consists solely of the disclosure, and get the applicant's written authorization before ordering a background check for employment purposes. SaffHire's applicant invitation workflow collects the disclosure acknowledgment and authorization electronically.

Yes. Applicants can dispute information they believe is inaccurate or incomplete. Under the FCRA, the consumer reporting agency must reinvestigate the disputed information, generally within 30 days, and correct or delete information that is inaccurate or cannot be verified.

A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) shows an applicant's driving record from the state, such as license status and driving history. MVRs usually return in minutes. State fees may apply.

A national criminal database search checks a large aggregated database of records from across the country. National databases are incomplete. A county criminal search goes directly to the courthouse and retrieves court records for that jurisdiction.

Yes. We offer pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable-suspicion drug testing. You order through the SaffHire portal, testing is performed at Labcorp facilities, and results are delivered through the portal. Instant result options are also available.
